Emergency Food Pantry

The goal of Shield of Faith Ministries (SOF) Food Pantry is to show the love of Jesus
by providing assistance to people in need in our community.
This includes providing food and/or personal items to individuals and families
who are facing a temporary personal or family crisis, as well as
providing for people who are  dealing with issues of poverty,
an existing handicap, illness, or an inability for self-care
(including inability due to advancing age).

The SOF Food Pantry is 100% operated by volunteers and
supported financially via voluntary donations.

Are you or is your family in need of food?
The SOF Food Pantry will provide you with a supply of emergency food
to help support you through this difficult time.
Families who are in need of food can schedule an appointment by phoning SOF at 989.781.4668.

Eligibility:
First time clients:
Individuals who are requesting services for the first time will be asked
to complete a short application form and to provide a PICTURE ID.

Returning clients:
Individuals who return for subsequent services will be asked to meet eligibility requirements.
